Our excursion farm is located in Žikarce, in the Municipality of Duplek. It stretches over the hills between Maribor and Lenart on 12 hectares. We grow grapes on 6000 vines. We have 250 apple trees of old cultivars, fields and meadows for self-sufficiency as well as animals and woods.

In our house, we also have the first wine queen of the Municipality of Duplek - the daughter Nataša Slanič  - as well as the cellar master of the years 2002 and 2003 of the Municipality of Duplek.
 
Apart from the numerous prices, our cellar master Anton received a certificate with a golden mark for the vine variety Welshriesling in the scope of the three-country-project named "Experienced traditions" (Doživete tradicije) in 2012. And at the wine review, organised by the Vinery Association  Trta (Vinogradniško vinarsko društvo Trta), the son Matej received a certificate with a golden mark for the varieties Welschriesling and Rheinriesling in 2011 and 2012.

Tourism is our supplementary activity at the farm but we practice it with great care, hospitality and kindness towards our guests who we like to pamper with our products and warm or cold dishes, prepared by the housewife Milena.

On prior request, she can serve you with our special sausage (kašnata klobasa) and sauerkraut, grilled sausage with sauerkraut, home-made roast pork, kid goat, beef broth, beef with horseradish and wine sauce, mushroom soup, bograč stew, goulash, home-made sausages or especially delicious home-made fried potatoes as well as many kinds of different season salads. 

Cold cuts are available during our opening hours.

In our house, guests like to celebrate their important life events such as weddings, confirmations, birthdays and other major turning points in life. You can use the children's play equipment as well as our large sports park with soccer and beach volleyball court. Fishing is also possible. Between May and September, there is also a picnic area. It is covered and equipped with a grill, refrigerator, stove and running water. You can choose to have a picnic on your own or we can pamper you.
